| I’ve been admiring the Mulberry jacket pictured on the right for a while now...first online, then in the window of one of their stores in London, and, most recently, on sale at Net-a-Porter... To me it evokes workman’s bags and fencers and has an almost Victorian feel but if I wore it I question whether that will be at the forefront of people’s minds or if they’ll wonder what asylum I escaped from... Don’t get me wrong, I try to avoid dressing based upon other people’s perceptions...but, at the same time, I don’t want to be the punch line for a joke...told by many different people, each one thinking they’re unique in their wit. |  |
