| Come September, the British edition of Harper's Bazaar will be...bling-y. To celebrate...commemorate...get people talking about (hey, it worked) the fact that they will now be using the standard, worldwide, Bazaar logo (and, let's face it, that's not the most exciting news on the planet) the cover will be, well partially covered, by 200 Swarovski crystals.
Fifty thousands copies of the magazine will be hitting newsstands, and probably leaving a little trail of sparkle in their wake. Did that sound unduly pessimistic? Perhaps it's because it's so difficult to buy a magazine that doesn't look like the dog got it...bent pages, torn covers...that I can't imagine 200 crystals making it in one piece... |
