All Plaid Out?

Having grown up in Scotland I should probably be "over" plaid...familiarity (and men in kilts) breeding contempt, as they say. And yet, in cold weather, there's something so appealing cheerful about a shot of tartan...especially when the overall vibe is less Oor Wullie and more Bande à part...like this plaid blouse/buffalo check jacket combo from J Crew...it's like the cute fairy ate too much haggis and attacked a lumberjack...
