When it comes to carving the Halloween pumpkin people generally fall into two groups..."the artists", who try to turn ten inches of gourd into a temporary work of art...and "the hacks", who are filled with the childlike joy of the season and whose end result usually looks like it was created by a slightly myopic six year old.

I, my friends, am a hack...and, once again, some poor pumpkin is going to sacrifice itself so that I can have a few hours of aimless fun...
