I feel like Julia Child on a bad day...the recipe...75% practicality (thick coat, rubber boots, et al)...25% insanity (skirt, tights, wind chill in the teens)...

    Love your blog, avid reader, but finally felt the need to comment.
    As a fellow winter skirt wearer, I can sympathise with the knee freeze factor. But this winter just gone (i'm in Australia), I got myself a pair of these babies (OK, maybe 2 or 3 pairs).
