| Dear Diary, Quick personal question...nothing to do with halitosis or other "things that only your best friend will tell you"...just wondering, on a scale of 1 to 5, how shallow it would be to buy a bottle of Balenciaga's Paris Eau De Parfum purely on account of the bottle design? Not that the scent itself is anything to turn up one's nose at (so to speak)...a dense, wooded violet...too dark and heavy for summer...yet intriguing for the colder months. I'd definitely wear it and, in the words of the accompanying advertising blurb, leave a "unique trail"...yet it's the bottle that I dream of...resting in a haze of restrained decadence upon my dressing room table. All of which leaves me pondering the words of Oscar Wilde... |  |
