At the moment I seem to be pulling a lot of black and muted colors out of my closet and only my accessories are providing (much needed) shots of color. Perhaps when the clocks change this weekend I'll spring forward with abandon and actually start wearing some of the colorful clothes I've been buying recently.

In the meantime, and in the spirit of color-saturated embellishments, I am drawn to this patent calfskin bag from Kate Spade. On the one hand, it's a sixties/modern explosion in a marmalade factory, but on the other...it's happiness in your hand, brightening your day and adding a "spring" to your step.
