Brother, can you spare a dime?

The way that my Christmas shopping is going I’m pretty sure I won’t have any money left by the end of December but, thanks to poketo, I could at least have a very artistic (if empty) wallet in my hands. Poketo has been making wallets with limited edition designs from emerging artists since 2003...and now, with over 100 artists from across the world, it’s like a very cool art gallery for your back-pocket/handbag.

And, as a bonus, each wallet comes with a matching badge...so you can wear your ‘art on your sleeve.

Brother, Can You Spare a Dime?", also sung as "Buddy, Can You Spare a Dime?", is one of the best-known American songs of the Great Depression. Written in 1931 by lyricist E. Y. "Yip" Harburg and composer Jay Gorney, "Brother, Can You Spare a Dime?" was part of the 1932 musical New Americana; the melody is based on a Russian lullaby Gorney heard as a child.
