| According to the fairy tale, Hansel and Gretel were deserted in the woods. Of course nowadays, with the amount of green areas disappearing, they'd probably have had to have been left in a suburb. In which case, I'm guessing that the witch would no longer have lived in her rustic shack and would, instead, have moved to a nice little gingerbread bungalow...with a one car garage and a rock garden. In fact, this modern gingerbread house is the quintessential des res for the modern witch...or an interesting take on a Christmas classic...whichever way you want to look at it. |  |
