As I wandered around the web this morning I ran across some images that brought home the fact that beauty really is in the eye of the beholder. An interesting article on the Times' website regarding "boundary-pushing" fashion shoots...should shoots, such as the rehab chic one for Italian Vogue, cause indignation or be looked upon as art...or at least a break from the visual pap that the majority of magazines are offering us? In the opposite corner, on a different site, were pictures from Britney Spears' shoot for Allure magazine...illustrating just what is possible with Photoshop (though that doesn't explain why she's clutching her neck).
