Word is that Levi’s will be unveiling a collaboration with British artist Damien Hirst during New York fashion week in September. Levi’s “Warhol Factory x Levis” line was created two years ago in association with the Warhol Foundation and this year Hirst will be adding his unique viewpoint to the jeans, jackets, and tops.
As a fan of Hirst’s work I’m looking forward to this. As someone who has seen how bad decorated denim can be (let’s cast our minds back to the Emporio Armani vintage jeans I found at the back of my closet, shall we?) I’m a little less enthusiastic...but we’ll see.
