It looks like I'm going to be stalking the Tate Modern's website, at least for the foreseeable future. Harriet Vine and Rosie Wolfenden a.k.a. Tatty Devine a.k.a. one of my favorite sources for fun jewelry have designed an exclusive line for the museum and I've got my fingers crossed that the Tate updates their website before they're all gone. | |
The range is based on Pantone color swatches...the different colors representing the different art collections on display at the Tate. White is used for minimalism, grey for futurism and yellow for the bright colour of fauvism...though there's something a little depressing about "the future being grey". In addition to the bracelet on the right there is a spin on Tatty's name necklaces, in the form of the untitled necklace. Perfect for those who wish to retain their anonymity. If you're feeling medieval...and happen to be going to Wales in the near future...the ladies have also created a special range of pieces for the medieval-themed Tapestry Goes West music festival, Margam Park, Wales from August 10th to 11th. |
